£3.6m To Arrest Russian Lawyer

Shocking allegations have surfaced in Moscow of a £3.6million “bribe” paid to arrest Russian lawyer Sergei Magnitsky. Russia’s New Times magazine revealed there was “no aim” to kill Magnitsky, who died after poor treatment in prison. “What happened was an unfortunate oversight, they pushed him too hard, ” it said. But Interior Ministry sources said his arrest was “ordered” by someone for £3.6million.
